The Friends of the Norwell Public Library are very pleased to introduce four new passes to the library's museum offerings:

Boston by Foot:  "Discover this vibrant and diverse city by taking one of many acclaimed guided Boston tours.  Boston by Foot walking tours showcase Boston's rich architectural and historical heritage."  The pass admits up to four people for free on any regularly scheduled tour.  Check out Boston by Foot's website, www.bostonbyfoot.org, for a listing of the tours.

The Sports Museum:  "Come celebrate the character of Boston sports - the unique brand of teamwork, determination, responsibility, courage, fairness and other qualities of character possessed by our teams and athletes that make Boston 'The Greatest Sports City in America'."  Bruins!  Celtics!  Red Sox!  Patriots Revolution!  Cannons!  Blazers!  The pass admits up to six people for free.  The museum is closed during TD Garden events, so check their website, www.tdbanknorthgarden.com/sportsmuseum, to make sure it's open.

The Harvard Art Museums:  The Harvard Art Museums, with a collection of over 280,000 objects, is the largest university art museum in the United States. Located on the edge of Harvard Square in Cambridge, the Fogg, Busch-Reisinger, and Arthur M. Sackler museums feature beloved works by well-known artists like Pollock, Picasso, and van Gogh, as well as extraordinary Persian paintings, ancient Greek coins, and an extraordinarily rich collection of drawings and photographs from all over the world. In the current permanent installation, Re-View, well-known objects are included alongside rarely displayed works in thematic gallery spaces:  the first floor features European and American art since 1900, Islamic and Asian art is on the second floor, and Western art from antiguity to the turn of the last century on the fourth floor.  Re-view represents a powerful distillation of the collection, balancing a wish to make available major works, familiar works, and works integral to the Art Museums' core mission of teaching and research."  This pass admits 2 adults free of charge to the Fogg Museum, Busch-Reisinger Museum and the Arthur M. Sacklet Museum.  Visit www.harvardartmuseums.org for more information.

The Fuller Craft Museum: "A beautiful 22-acre campus and sculpture garden are your home away from home for contemporary craft, artistic expression and idyllic retreats to a classic New England landscape.  Imagine the ideal: A place where the creative senses are continually stimulated, where cultural perspectives are broadened, and where the imagination takes flight, open to new ideas and ways of thinking about our world and our unique place in it. The Fuller Craft Museum, New England's only home for contemporary craft, is such a place."  This pass admits 2 adults free of charge.  Children 18 and under are always free!  Visit www.fullercraft.org for more information.
