Youth Library Council is Making a Difference
More than 40 youth in grades 4 through 8 have joined the Norwell Library's new Youth Library Council (YLC), a program supported and made possible through a year-long EqualAccess Libraries™*grant, administered by the youth services librarian. The group meets twice monthly for 45 minutes to help in the selection of library materials, plan youth programs, and make suggestions for enhancing services to youth in grades 4 though 8. New members are always welcome. Pick up a schedule at the library, or check the online Calendar for meeting dates and times. The Norwell YLC is a great way to give back to the community!

... and J Graphic Novels
Want a taste of a classic but not quite ready for the real thing? Try a graphic novel! Graphic novels are a format, not a genre-- they come in all manner of genres. Enjoy a humorous story, fantasy, historical fiction, adventure, science fiction, and more-- in a graphic novel format!
*This Youth Access program is made possible by a grant funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. EqualAccess Libraries™ is an initiative of Libraries for the Future.
